My name is Jason Michel, and I'm excited to be joining the Parkston School District as business manager. I grew up in a family of 7 in Dell Rapids and graduated from St. Mary High School in 2012. I went to Dakota State University and have a bachelor's degree in Secondary Math Education. I taught high school math for 5 years at both Harrisburg and Oldham-Ramona-Rutland before transitioning to the business manager role at ORR.
I met my wife, Kendra, in college, and we've been married since 2018. We have two spunky daughters, Rylee Jo (4) and Sydney (9 months), and our son Noah, born sleeping in 2023. In our free time, we enjoy gardening, walking, and watching basketball and football.
We look forward to being part of the Parkston School District community.
