Avera St. Benedict to Open Second Physical Therapy Location in Parkston
PARKSTON, SD — Avera St. Benedict Health Center will open a second physical therapy location in March, expanding access to trusted rehabilitation services close to home. It will be located in the Trojan Fitness Center (TFC) at Parkston High School.
The TFC location will offer outpatient physical therapy services designed to help patients recover from injury, manage pain, improve mobility, and safely and confidently return to daily activities. Services include physical therapy focused on balance & vestibular therapy, pain management, orthopedic rehabilitation, and sports-related injury prevention and rehabilitation.
“Bringing another physical therapy location to Parkston reflects our commitment to meeting people where they are,” said Lindsay Weber, CEO of Avera St. Benedict. “This additional location allows us to better serve the community with the same trusted care patients expect from Avera.”
The Avera Therapy clinic will be staffed by a licensed physical therapist who works closely with patients to create personalized treatment plans focused on healing, strength, and long-term wellness.
“Our goal is to help patients move better, feel better, and get back to the activities that matter most to them,” said Becky Weich, Director of Therapy & Sports of the Avera Queen of Peace Region. “Having two physical therapy locations in Parkston makes care more convenient while maintaining the high standards our patients rely on.”
Appointments will be available beginning in March. To support affordability for our patients, this clinic is a commercial payer/co-pay location. To schedule or if you have questions, please call 605-928-4430.
