The Parkston School District is seeking applications for a School Board Member to fill a vacancy on the Board of Education due to a recent resignation.

Serving on the school board is an important opportunity to make a positive difference for our students, staff, and community. Board members help guide district policy, oversee fiscal responsibility, and support the mission of providing quality education for all students.

Eligibility: Applicants must be a patron residing within the Parkston School District.

Term of Service: The appointed individual will serve the remaining months of the 26-27 school year until the next regular school board election in June, when the position will be placed on the ballot.
