Avera St. Benedict in Parkston has designated July 18th, 20th and 21st as days (normal business hours) where additional staff will be available to accommodate for physicals. Additionally, on 7/18 they are offering extended hours until 7:00 pm. If those dates do not work, there is an option to schedule different days/times.
Remember, Parkston athletes need a new physical each school year to be eligible to compete in their sport season.
Reminder that WILBS basketball workouts start this afternoon! Grades 3-5 start at 1:30. Grades 6-8 start at 2:40 and Grades 9-12 start at 3:50. Would LOVE to see a great turnout. The HS coaches will be there to help with registering. See you this afternoon!

Due to weather that is not ideal for a car wash, the HOSA car wash has been POSTPONED. If you are interested in supporting the HOSA mission and their trip to Dallas, you can also donate towards their Envelope Fundraiser! Find an envelope that doesn't have a name on it and claim it by donating the same amount as the number on the envelope! Envelope already claimed? You can claim it too! Please consider supporting PHS HOSA members as they prepare for the International Leadership Conference in Dallas, TX by donating to the their Envelope Fundraiser! On their fundraising board are 100 envelopes; each envelope represents a donation amount. For example, the first envelope is available for a $1 donation, the 33rd envelope is available for a $33 donation, and so on. Once an envelope has been claimed, it is off the board! If you are interested in donating, please contact one of the competing HOSA members or message Advisor Carmen Bartells! ATTENTION BASKETBALL PLAYERS AND PARENTS!! We are excited to announce that we have organized WILBS Basketball Workouts here in Parkston for this summer. These will be held on Thursday afternoons for 6 weeks this summer. This is a GREAT opportunity to work on your basketball skills and we would love to have all of our basketball players coming into grades 3-12 signup! The first workout is on JUNE 15th so get signed up today! I HIGHLY recommend signing up your player for this opportunity. Congrats to the Girls Golf Team on qualifying for the state tournament in Rapid City! The team finished third in the region, Top individual placers were Gracie Oakley in 6th, Kayla Neugebauer in 12th, and Finley Bogenreif in 13th!
Congrats to Lauren Ziebart, Ella Pollreisz, Marissa Storm, and Morgan Maxwell! These four ladies broke the school record in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 4:11.62!
