Wednesday was Halloween Costume Day and our class game was the Quiz Bowl! Seniors came out on top and the Queen Candidates won in overtime vs. the King candidates in the royalty quiz bowl! Fun times at PHS!

Marching Band shirts have been picked up and are ready at the school! Please come and get yours in the Elementary office.

If you have a student in band, they will be taking them home to you. Thank you!

Thank you cheerleaders for spending some time with us this morning to teach us the school song!! We are excited to cheer and sing on Friday!!

HUGE win for the Trojans Volleyball Team tonight! 3-0 sweep of the #6 team in class A! Coach Schauer earned the 100th win of her career tonight as well!

Our flag football season wrapped up tonight. Four weeks of fun and growth from our 1st and 2nd graders is in the books! Thanks to all of our varsity FB players who helped and all the parents and family members who cheered on their kids along the way. The future is bright for this group of future football stars!!!

Day 2 of Homecoming! The theme was Red, White, & Blue and the class game was a relay race. Seniors edged out the 8th graders and Juniors in an attested finish. I believe the senior motto today was "If you ain't cheatin' you ain't trying!"

FUN TIMES in the 6-12 world. for our class games, we played musical chairs and pool noodle knockout! Seniors took home the win in musical chairs thanks to Hayden! 7th graders took home the win in Knockout thanks to Caleb! Lots of students and staff dressed up for our Christmas Theme today as well!

HOMECOMING BARBECUE TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE!

HS Student Council Members will be visiting businesses to sell tickets on Tuesday and Thursday afternoon. If you want them to stop by, let Peg know in the office.

As you prepare your calendar of events for the upcoming Homecoming week, make sure to include the Athletic Boosters annual tailgate! They will be serving grilled burgers, brats, and hot dogs at the East Park on Friday, September 26 after Surfin' Safari entertains at the Amphitheater and before the Trojans football team kicks off at 7:00! Great day for the JV/JH Boys Golfers. Tucker Hockett was the Medalist today, Briar Frederick was 3rd, Corbin Konrad was 15th out 46 golfers.

Support our Marching Trojans this season by purchasing a Parkston Marching Band shirt! Shirt sales begin today, and the store closes on September 14th. Shirts will be available for pickup at the school before the Homecoming Game on Friday, September 26th. Ms. Anderson will be picking them up from Mitchell the day of, so no need to drive there to get it!
